School as a Family

It is important to know that every student in the school has the support of the Student Life Organization and staff, creating an extended family. A school is very much a learning community and an active commitment to the dynamics that this implies is essential if the learning process is to function correctly.

Each school has students from different countries and cultures and at SIS-Adma we consider this to be a valuable resource. This diversity affords us the opportunity to develop a better understanding of human nature, helping students to appreciate the strengths of an open mind. The way they are used to doing things may not necessarily be "correct" and there are perhaps different approaches and viewpoints, whether these are habits, food, clothes or values. Our emphasis upon language instruction plays a large part in this.

We believe that in our shrinking world, people who develop an understanding of other cultures are more likely to be successful and happy than people who limit their experiences.
